Prevention of corruption

Prevention of corruption is the disclosure and elimination of the causes and conditions of corruption by establishing and implementing a system of appropriate measures, as well as the impact on individuals in order to deter the commission of criminal acts of a corrupt nature.

Offences of a corrupt nature include bribery, bribery of an intermediary, bribery, other criminal offences, if committed in the public administration sector or in the provision of public services for the benefit of oneself or others: abuse of official position or misuse of powers, abuse of official powers, forgery of documents or measuring instruments, fraud, misappropriation or embezzlement of property, disclosure of the secret of the service, the disclosure of a trade secret, the provision of incorrect data on income, profits or property, the legalisation of money or property derived from crime, interference in the activities of a public servant or a person performing public administrative functions, or other criminal offences where the commission of such acts is intended or requires bribery, bribery or the concealment or disguise of bribery or bribery.
