The Lithuanian Museum of Education has joined the project “Social Recipe”. On the basis of this beautiful initiative, from September 4 to November 14, 2024, we will invite seniors to the series of events “Let’s meet in the museum”, where active educational activities, various workshops and other meaningful cultural meetings will take place.
Project initiatives for seniors “Let’s meet at the museum”:
Cycle of cultural events “On the Path of Science”;
Bingo tournament (I, II);
Cycle of cultural meetings “Tell me”;
Cycle of cultural meetings “Booksellers’ Club”;
Cycle of cultural meetings “Rima’s Grasslands”;
Cycle “Grandchildren’s Language” (in English);
Art workshop: discover emotional freedom (I, II, III);
A series of creative sessions “Textile Meetings” (I, II).
“Social Recipe” is a joint project for seniors who feel lonely in order to involve them in community activities and improve their emotional well-being. The project is initiated by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Lithuania and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Lithuania. During the “Meeting in the Museum”, as many as 8 different cycles of events have been planned, during which we will promote communication and cooperation, sharing of good practices, and the formation of new skills.
