Project “Timeless Game”: Reviving Traditional Games in the Lithuanian-Polish Border Communities

2024 December 18

“Timeless Game” is a project aimed at reviving traditional games from the 14th to 20th centuries in the Lithuanian-Polish border regions. The project promotes the preservation of cultural heritage, community collaboration, and the development of sustainable tourism.

With modernization, many traditional games that once symbolized cultural identity and community spirit are disappearing. This project will not only restore authentic games but also adapt them to the contemporary context, making them accessible to new generations.

Expected Impact

The project’s outcomes are expected to foster local pride in cultural heritage and offer tourists the opportunity to engage in authentic and enriching activities. This initiative will encourage cultural dialogue and contribute to the sustainable development of tourism in the region.
