The Lithuanian Museum of Education invites you to an exhibition dedicated to the centenary of the restoration of the Lithuanian state, to all the founders of the Lithuanian state and to the centenary of modern Lithuanian parliamentarism, which will be celebrated in 2020.
“One of Many: Signatories of the Lithuanian Independence Act of 16 February 1918 – Creators of the State” is a continuation of the series of exhibitions dedicated to the centenary of the Lithuanian State and the centenary of modern Lithuanian parliamentarism.
The photographs and documents exhibited in the exhibition are stored in the archives of the Kaunas Archdiocese Curia, Kaunas City Museum, the Lithuanian Central State Archive, the Lithuanian Special Archive, the Library of the Institute of Lithuanian Literature and Folklore, the Vrublevskis Library of the Lithuanian Academy of Sciences, the Martynas Mažvydas National Library, the National Museum of Lithuania, the Reading Room of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania, the National M. K. Čiurlionis Art Museum, Panevėžys County Gabrielė Petkevičaitė-Bitė Public Library, Vilnius University Library.
The exhibition will run from 11 February to 11 March 2025 at the Lithuanian Museum of Education (Vytauto pr. 52, Kaunas).
Admission to the exhibition is subject to the purchase of a general museum admission ticket.
